Codes of Behaviour
Here at Learning Clubhouse we manage behaviour using clear, consistent and positive strategies. The centre’s rules are clearly displayed at every session, and are discussed regularly.
The rules are compiled by the children attending the centre at the beginning of the year which everyone agrees will support learning and facilitate a happy classroom environment.
In addition, a more comprehensive list of rules and values is compiled in the Behaviour Management Policy; a copy can be obtained upon request.
There is an expectation of high standards of personal behaviour and respect for others which we hope Parents will encourage and support.
Children’s achievements are rewarded in a number of ways. The children do find this practice very motivating. Rewards include stickers, certificates, praise and the opportunity to share their work with other staff and children at the centre.
Everyone has the right to:
- feel safe, cared for and respected
- be able to learn to the best of his/her ability and to further develop skills they already have
- be treated equally irrespective of gender, race, physical characteristics or any other factors
- learn and play without discrimination
Everyone is expected to:
- be responsible for their own behaviour
- respect the rights of others
- be approachable and helpful
Children attending the centre are expected to:
- Respect everyone’s culture, race, feelings, beliefs and values.
- Accept responsibility for the things they do .
- Take shared responsibility for their education .
- Complete their homework to a high quality and return it to their teacher on time .
- Try to work independently, but ask their peers and adults when help is needed .
- Do their best in all they undertake and follow the centre’s Golden Rules:
- Always aim high, try your best and make good choices.
- Always show respect to each other by being kind, polite, caring and listening to each other.
- Always follow instructions given by any member of staff.
- Always look after the centre’s and other people’s property.
- Always play nicely and share.
7. Ensure they take home all of the centre’s letters and hand them to their parents.
We say No to Bullying, whether verbal or physical; at Learning Clubhouse we have a no nonsense policy regarding it. We ask for all parents and pupils to help us by reporting immediately any incidents that may occur, so that we can deal with it firmly and fairly, including parents where necessary.
Learning Clubhouse is a Multi Award Winning Unique Out Of School Learning Club and Ofsted Registered Childcare Centre, located in the renowned Carlisle Business Centre in Manningham, Bradford. Established since 2012, with the key aim to revolutionise the services available to young children aged between 5-15. Learning Clubhouse are recognised with prestigious awards nationally and locally for their support to parents and the broader community.
We have expanded our reach across three sites in Bradford and are on the cusp of opening a new location by the end of Summer 2024 in Harehills, Leeds.
Working closely with nurseries, schools, and educational institutions, we are transforming out-of-school services, learning, and education in Bradford. Our wide range of services offers parents a one-stop solution for childcare, holiday clubs, and Educational learning. We uniquely merge extra-curricular and religious education in a highly effective way. Our team, comprising the most experienced and passionate childcare staff, madrassah staff, and qualified teachers, has developed an educational curriculum that ensures your child reaches their full potential. Our warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment is supported by a dedicated team with many years of experience in both caring for and educating children to the highest standard.
We aim to nurture the next generation of young adults with a spirit of exploration, encouraging them to continually seek and achieve their fullest potential in areas they are passionate about and enjoy. We believe every child has an explorer within them, and our goal is to help that spirit thrive. This includes providing tailored childcare rooms, and support for children with special needs, and we are committed to working closely with parents to find the best solutions for their child.
Just as every child has the right to quality in-school education, they also deserve similar support and resources in a comfortable out-of-school setting that complements their educational learning.
